Which is best for me?
While it is important to consult with the doctors before deciding which treatment is best, the following information can provide you with an idea of how our injectables or filler can help you achieve the look you want.
How They Work: Injectables and fillers can smooth wrinkles and the outer layers of skin by temporarily weakening and relaxing the muscles around your eyes and forehead. Both are known to be effective at reversing the signs of aging, such as the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles, frown lines, crow’s feet, and more. These injectables can take a day or two to start showing results and typically last 3-4 months.
How They Work: Dermal fillers. With age, levels of hyaluronic acid decline, causing your skin to retain less moisture. This leads to volume loss and results in sagging and wrinkling skin. Dermal fillers restore levels of hyaluronic acid, filling the space between collagen and elastin fibers to enhance your skin’s plumpness, filling in lines and wrinkles, and restoring your skin’s youthfulness. These dermal fillers typically have an instant effect, have a minimal recovery time, and vary in longevity, from 6 to 18 months.
How much pain can I expect? Tiny needles are used for most injectables, resulting in very little pain and mild discomfort. Dermal fillers may cause minimal pain. Numbing is always used for dermal fillers to decrease discomfort, but it is rarely necessary.
